Lubelski Salon Artystyczny is based on presenting guest theatre performances, as well as organizing Presentations of Musical-Theatrical Forms “Sounds of Words” Festival , which consists of musicals, recitals, music performances and music concerts. The Festival shows that sound together with actor’s expression give a unique meaning to words.
Contemporary art often avoids verbal expression as a basis for the contact with the audience, replacing it with the visualization of creative ideas. Meanwhile, word has an incredible power as far as artistic message is concerned because it can reach the deepest perceptive layers of the spectator
Lubelski Salon Artystyczny began its activity in The Centre For Culture in Lublin in 2007 with Olena Leonenko's music performance “Night with Wertyński”. During the last ten years it has been presenting performances from the most important Polish theatre stages such as National Theatre Warsaw, Ateneum Theatre, The Dramatic Theatre, Studio Theatre, Rampa Theatre, Jewish Theatre, Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow, and it hosted exceptional artists, not only from Poland, such as Danuta Szaflarska, Zbigniew Zapasiewicz, Irena Jun, Ewa Błaszczyk, Iva Bittova, Matt Elliot, Piotr Machalica and Tara Fuki band among others.
